The SWISSLAB blood donation module for donation and production has been specially developed for the complex and demanding processes in this sensitive area of the laboratory.
The user-friendly dialogs in the SWISSLAB system enable the quick and precise execution and monitoring of the highly specific work steps that must be carried out at a blood donation center.
Our system supports compliance with directives governing transfusion medicine, such as those of the Paul Ehrlich Institute, the Robert Koch Institute, as well as Eurocode standards. The SWISSLAB module also supports compliance with the stringent requirements of the international "Human Blood Transfusion Standards".

LAURIS ID-CHECK
Safeguard specimen and blood unit management on the go
Patient safety and complete documentation of specimens and blood units are at the heart of the NEXUS / LAURIS ID-CHECK. With the mobile application, you can optimize workflows in hospital wards and validate these directly at the patient's bed.
Before taking a specimen, the patient's wristband and the pre-labeled test tube are scanned in order to clearly identify the patient and the specimen numbers stored in the LAURIS system. The data is compared with the SWISSLAB laboratory order in real time. If the patient ID and the specimen order number match, the specimen is taken and the time and the processor are documented. The app can also be used for transfusion. In this case, the identity of the patient and the products to be transfused are checked to ensure that they are correct, valid and assigned to the patient. This is how NEXUS / LAURIS ID-Check virtually eliminates mix-ups completely.
