NEXUS / ifa EIS’s integrated workflow management (WFM) helps efficiently manage patient flow and ensure transparent scheduling in the eye hospital/ophthalmological department. Using the WFM, individual waiting room lists can be configured for specific persons and/or rooms and measures and tasks assigned accordingly. This significantly increases the clarity of overall patient numbers and upcoming courses of treatment. By standardizing how recurring processes are displayed, structured treatment plans can also be developed quickly and easily, significantly increasing efficiency and, in turn, creating more scope for treating patients. Through integrated statistical evaluation mechanisms, the WFM also helps identify where established work processes could be optimized.
